All the prices quoted on this website are net prices per person. These are in American dollars (USD $) and include 8% sales taxes. Please note that these prices are subject to changes without previous notification. To find the prices just look at the product you want to learn about. If you made a reservation and already deposited a down payment or full payment, we’ll keep the price that you grabbed.

Minimum required
The minimum required for most of our tours is 1 adult, so no one gets left behind. For some tours offered by our third-party providers, the minimum required may vary from 2 or more passengers. To take the Children or Additional passenger price, a minimum of 2 adults should be added to the shopping cart.
Individuals: Reservations, deposits, and final payments.
It is recommended preferably to make reservations 4 days in advance, especially for the time of more tourist affluence (November to May and July and August). Wait for email approval if making a reservation with less than 3 days of anticipation. Having been approved the package by Best Tours CR the reservations will be carried out once the payment has been made. We take down payments, just email us from the product page to request. The cancellation of the balance will be made 24 hours before the specified date of arrival or the day of the tour via PayPal. If the customers do not show the day of the tour then Best Tours CR will not give refunds.
In all cases, the confirmation of the package will be subject to the readiness of the services required at the moment that is carried out the total payment of the package. The payments are made via PayPal.
Cancellations, changes, and refunds.
The cancellation applications or changes should be presented in writing to our e-mail: reservations@besttourscr.com. A 100% is charged to the cancellations made within 24 hours.
Individuals have to request cancelations 5 days in advance for a full refund.
Refunds are not applicable once initiated the trip, as well as none used portions of the package.
Groups: Reservations, deposits, and final payments.
Those groups of 10 and up can take the “Additional price” from the price list and those of 20 and up can take the “Children’s price”, see the picture below. Groups have to make reservations 15 days in advance and pay the whole amount by then. Wait for email approval if making a reservation with less than 15 days of anticipation. Having been approved the package by Best Tours CR the reservations will be carried out once the payment has been made. We take down payments, just email us from the product page to request. The cancellation of the balance will be made 15 days before the specified date of arrival by PayPal. If the customers do not show the day of the tour then Best Tours Costa Rica will not give refunds as well as cancelations made within 15 days or less. 100% is penalized on cancelations made within 15 days.
The pricing format below is used for Adventure and other tours.
Quads, Side sides, and ocean activities.
These services are excluded from the group’s rule. Email us for groups requiring more than 10 machines.
We run our tours in the sun and rain!
Costa Rica has two seasons, dry and rainy. we recommend packing rain jackets to protect yourselves and your electronic devices, especially in the rainy season. If the climatic conditions are dangerous according to our providers and our expertise, or our government declares an emergency then we will reschedule the activities or refund 100%
Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
The dry season goes from December to April, and the rainy season goes from May to November, so consider it when planning your activities.
Operation of our services.
Our services are delegated to third-party providers with outstanding customer service, passionate about what they do, and happy to share. These service providers are independent transportation owners, drivers, tour guides, local fishermen, family-run restaurants, and theme parks. Each provider goes through a process where we determine if they can operate legally.
Tour guides have to have their ´Tour guide license´ up to date and their insurance, and they are required to pay taxes. Besides, they have to show authentic passion for what they do and great communication skills, and they are evaluated through the comments left on our social media, Facebook, Google reviews, and TripAdvisor. Not meeting the requirements or not getting positive comments from our customers are good reasons to disapprove a tour guide.
Transportation providers have to have their driver´s license, vehicle registration, inspection (2 times a year), and security devices like booster seats and insurance, up to date and they are required to pay taxes. Besides, they have to show authentic passion for what they do and great communication skills, and they are evaluated through the comments left on our social media, Facebook, Google reviews, and TripAdvisor. Not meeting the requirements or not getting positive comments from our customers are good reasons to disapprove a transportation provider.
Best Tours CR does its best, to meet the best tourism oriented-service providers and we do not make responsible if they don´t satisfy our customer’s expectations. Not complying with the type of service that was promised on the selected product page on our website, is a strong reason to not use a provider in the future. Our insurance covers our customers while visiting cities, national parks, and local beaches. When visiting theme parks, their insurance takes over our insurance if needed.
